Coach Moon Jae-hyuk has had an extensive and successful career in fencing, both as an athlete and coach. Starting his fencing journey at the age of 14 in South Korea, he spent 20 years as a competitive athlete, including 12 years with a Korean professional team. During his athletic career, he achieved remarkable results in both domestic and international competitions.
Transitioning to coaching, Coach Moon has built a strong track record over the past 7 years, consistently developing top-tier athletes for national teams at various age levels. Notably, he served as the coach for South Korea’s national reserve team in 2022, the U-14 national team in 2023, and the U-16 national team in 2024. His leadership and experience have helped shape the future of fencing in his country.
Currently based in a, Coach Moon continues to combine his dual roles as both an athlete and coach. He is committed to fostering the growth of fencing through personal lessons, sparring, and coaching at competitions, further solidifying his impact on the sport.
